Friends of Fontaine's relationship with Siena College began back in 2011 when Pierre Louis began classes at Siena under the guidance of Drs. Tom and Pat Coohill during his time away from Haiti following the 2010 earthquake. The seed was planted, thanks to the Coohill's, and over the years has grown into a prosperous partnership. Siena College sent its first mission group down to Fontaine in 2013 to bring books, laptops, and school supplies for the students. Siena College continues to support the Friends of Fontaine mission through financial support and prayer.

UPDATE: A U.S. State Department Advisory against travel to Haiti due to the increased level of crime, kidnapping, roaming gangs, and political instability has resulted in the temporary suspension of mission trips to Haiti. We hope the improved conditions in Haiti will allow for the resumption of mission trips in the near future.
